Placing Your Order
Orders may be placed by email, phone or in writing. Please indicate the title, issue number (or date if appropriate), grade and price of the item(s) you want. Please note that for mail order there is also a charge for postage and packing (see below).
Once you’ve placed an order, we will set your items aside. Payment is then expected within a maximum of 3 days; if payment is not received within this time, the items will be placed back on sale.
Methods Of Payment Accepted For Mail Order
UK and International:
• Credit/debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) direct to us by phone.

• Paypal to: firstname.lastname@example.org (If you’re unsure how to do this, please ask us for a Paypal invoice.) If you choose to use Paypal, please ensure that your correct mailing address is shown on your Paypal payment, since we can only post to addresses registered with Paypal. Please do not use Paypal ‘Friends & Family’ to make personal payments.
As above plus:
• Cheque or postal order made payable to 30th Century Comics. (If you choose to pay by this method, we will usually await cheque clearance before sending your package; this normally takes a week.)
• Bank transfer. Please advise us when transfer has been made if you’re using this method and make sure you’ve given us your address for postage. Our bank details are:

The minimum order value is £10 (not including postage and packing charges). This is because we have found that on smaller orders, the cost of postage, packaging materials and banking charges more often than not outweighs the value of the comic(s). This does not apply to orders from our Books section.
Whilst we make every effort to keep the site catalogue listings as up to date as possible, inevitably there will be occasions when an item has already been sold. You are therefore strongly advised to check with us for the availability of items before sending payment. You will also need to contact us to get a quote for postage and packing charges (see below).
If you see something you want, we strongly suggest you contact us right away; when the shop is closed, orders by email will be filled in the order of receipt i.e. these will have priority over orders placed by phone the following morning. Many items sell very quickly as soon as we list them.
Time Payment Scheme
We will consider spreading the cost of any order in excess of £100 over a number of instalments to suit your individual budget. If this is of interest to you, please contact us to discuss an arrangement.
Postage & Packing
We post to anywhere in the world. All our packages are sent with full insurance cover. All orders outside the UK are sent by air.
We charge the actual cost of postage plus a small fee (usually less than £1) for packaging materials.
When you place an order by email or phone, we will give you a postage quote. If you want to send an order in by post, either contact us before sending payment for a postage quote or send your order and we’ll contact you and tell you how much to send including postage.
Packages are sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce, by a delivery method at our discretion depending on weight, size and value. We despatch packages as soon as possible following receipt of cleared funds, usually within a day or two.
All our British and American comics are sold in comic bags; all vintage issues (and an increasing number of modern issues) are additionally sold and packaged with backing boards. We package everything securely in boxes or padded envelopes with protective boarding to ensure there is no damage in transit.
