45_rsp_evbodyhadgunw45_ths_deadsetw*Crime, Spies & Sleaze: Two more crime fighters join the Crime bookshelves today. The first is Shell Scott, Richard S Prather’s detective, described on the books as ‘White-haired, broken-nosed, with a neat line in wisecracks and a liking for beautiful women. The toughest, most efficient detective you’ve ever met.’ We have four Shell Scott adventures available in 1950’s and 1960’s editions. The second is by Terry Harknett, writing as Thomas H Stone. Chester Fortune is described as ‘ a Man of Violence in a Violent World.’ We believe we have the whole set of five Fortune novels, all in First UK paperback editions and in grades ranging from VG to FN.
