*Marvel: Finally from the Good Doctor Collection this week, we concentrate on the years when the title was revitalised by fan favourite artist Todd McFarlane. Although not to everyone’s taste, there’s no doubt that McFarlane injected a dynamism into the Amazing Spider-Man series as it approached and passed its 300th issue. His run was festooned with guest stars and favourite Spidey villains, including the launch of Venom. This update features almost every issue from #302 to #329 (except #316), nearly all of which were drawn by McFarlane. A couple of examples of his cover layout style are shown here.
