*DC: We’re very pleased to present another Golden Age Batman from the Bute Collection this week. This time it’s #34, with a dynamic action-packed cover by Dick Sprang and three Batman crime stories by Sprang (including cameos by the Joker and the Penguin) plus an Alfred story by Jerry Robinson. Structurally, a very nice copy with bright colours and little wear (just slightly blunted corners and a tiny chip out at centre right edge). There is a tiny corner off one interior page (margin only). Staples are tight, firm and clean and comic lies flat. Page quality is an excellent and very supple off-white. The grade is kept to VG due to enthusiastic signatures in pen by a previous owner in four places on the cover (over the backgrounds rather than the figures) and further such incursions on inside page margins.
