American Comics Update: The Midas Collection/Batmania: Batman #116-120
*DC: In the late 1950s, after issue #100, Batman became a title full of science-fiction, aliens and monsters under the guidance of Editor Whiney Ellsworth. There were still plenty of pure crime stories, but the aliens and monsters took centre stage. A period fondly remembered by many Bat-fans. Five consecutive issues from this time from the Midas Collection this week.
