*Memorabilia & Esoterica: In our brand new category, we turn our attention to UK comic related paraphernalia this week and offer two items associated with membership clubs for two very different comics. First up, a membership card (neatly filled in) of the Classics Illustrated Club of Great Britain, which, judging from its appearance and provenance that we know of is from the late 1950’s/early 1960’s; decent shape with a few age marks at £15. Secondly, a Princess membership Club Badge for readers of the famous Girls’ comic by that name, in silver-coloured metal in pristine condition; we got it direct from the original owner who was a member of the Princess Club in the early 1960’s! There can’t be many of these about, and £25 will make it yours!
