*Humour Comics: We’re delighted to present every issue of the Big One from 1964, including the first issue (17/10) and both the Fireworks and Christmas issues (pictured). This huge, over-sized experiment from Fleetway only lasted 19 issues (into early 1965) before it was merged with Buster. Measuring approx. 14″ x 22″, we suspect this was a real nightmare for newsagents and that this comic was stored and sold horizontally folded like broadsheet newspapers. We’ve never seen a copy without such a fold and indeed we store and sell them that way. This new collection is nevertheless in really nice condition, mostly VG or FN, and we don’t see many of these at all, let alone in such nice shape.
