*War: In issues #138 to #150 of the long-running Star Spangled War Stories title, DC featured the exploits of Enemy Ace, Hans Von Hammer, the German pilot from World War 1 (later WW2), known as the Hammer of Hell. Due to immense popularity following his debut in Our Army At War #151, he reappeared in that title before being granted his own series in Star Spangled, later appearing many times over the years in the DCU.
