*EC: This is the 5th printing of the Complete Old Testament Edition of Picture Stories from the Bible, published by EC and DC in the 1940s. 232 colour pages. All the big hitters are here: Adam & Eve, Noah, Moses, Samson, David, Jonah and many more. The entire Old Testament, ‘told chronologically for the first time in full color continuity’. A bit of a wreck, actually, with clumsily taped spine loads of creases, page edge tears and some brittleness. Amazingly, still holding together although one story page (two sides) is missing, and the final page has lots of chips out. To be honest, we wouldn’t be selling this ordinarily, except that it’s rare – and so thick!
