American Comics Update: Six Of The Best: Early House Of Secrets
*DC: Unlike its sibling title House Of Mystery, House of Secrets started in 1956 after the Comics Code Authority came in, and thus has no pre-code issues. What it does boast is clever horror/mystery/science fiction stories by some top artists and often classic covers. These early and consecutive issues date from 1959/60 and thus span the beginning of UK distribution. They all feature the recurring Mark Merlin mysteries.
