*Marvel: Always a joy when an early issue of Amazing Spider-Man comes fresh into stock, especially when it’s such a nice copy as this one. Issue #11 features the second-ever appearance of Doctor Octopus, who vies with the Green Goblin for the position of Spidey’s #1 foe. A Stan Lee/Steve Ditko classic. A beautiful clean copy with vibrant and glossy colour cover (no markings), pence printed, tight, firm staples and lovely, supple near-white pages. Very minor handling wear at edges with some small stress marks breaking colour at spine. There are a couple of faint white vertical creases just a few mm length at Dock Ock’s face and arm, and one of about 2 cm below the title blurb box, but these barely detract from the dynamic cover.
