*Horror 1940/1959: Adventure Into Mystery from 1956 was one of several Atlas short series which sprang up after the introduction of the Comics Code. Each of the 8 issues featured many stories, by the same top artists of the pre-code era, in the same style and vein as the pre-code days, but with less schlock and more subtlety. Some great covers on these Bute Collection copies.

Great cover colours and reflectivity. There are a few creases at the lower spine, which only break colour for a mm or two.
