American Comics Update: The Midas Collection: Wonder Woman #109 with Wonder Girl

*DC: By the time we got to Wonder Woman #109 in 1959, Kanigher, Andru and Esposito had taken over the creative reins to portray the Silver Age Wonder Woman who would go through the 1960s and beyond. No more so than in this issue from the Midas Collection, cover starring Wonder Girl in one of her earliest adventures, with an adult back-up story. Our heroine at various stages of her life was a recurring theme at this time. This bright copy has some cover creasing which breaks colour and a faint stain on the giant’s jacket, but is structurally integral with good staples, nice off-white pages and relatively minor top edge wear.
