*Marvel: Although Bill Foster first appeared in Avengers #32 (1966), it wasn’t until 9 years later that he became Black Goliath, following in the footsteps of his boss Hank Pym. After a trial in Luke Cage, Power Man, he graduated into his own series in 1976. Although short-lived (only five issues), it has the advantages of being inexpensive and an easy run to complete.
