American Update: Mystery In Space with Adam Strange, Hawkman, Space Ranger & Ultra the Multi-Alien
*DC: A chunky update to one of our favourite titles this week. Along with Strange Adventures, Mystery In Space was DC’s premier science-fiction title, launched in 1951. By the time we got to where this update begins, #68, Adam Strange was firmly established as the regular lead feature. I’ve written extensively about my love for the Adam Strange feature in our Lockdown Article seres here. Issues #87-90 are a true delight, with the comic shared between Adam and Hawkman. This update also features issues up to #109, with Space Ranger and Ultra the Multi-Alien (inc 1st appearance in #103). These have their followers, but frankly are not of the same quality as the earlier Julius Schwartz edited issues. An extensive update of a couple of dozen issues this week; full details as always in our catalogue.
