At first seemingly, ‘just another robot’, he became one of the Avengers’ greatest enemies, particularly when his poignant connection to Hank Pym, Goliath, was revealed, and his menace has metastized into other media, most notably the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ film of recent years.
