*Crime, Spies and Sleaze: From our distinguished Arch Collection of vintage comics and books, we present two thrillers from 1943 and 1952 in Hardback editions complete with dust-jackets illustrated by the wonderful Reginald Heade. The first by Victor Bridges is a wartime tale of espionage in the Essex marshes, a hard-to-find item, particularly with the dust jacket. The second by Manning O’Brine is a work of fiction derived from the attempted bombing of the British Embassy in Rome in 1946.
