British Comics Update: ‘Tea, M’Lady?’ ‘FAB, Parker!’
*TV & Film Related Comics: Seven or eight years ago, you might have been forgiven for thinking that our advice that Lady Penelope comics were hard to collect was hard sell, since we were lucky enough to have multiple runs come our way in a short space of time (that’s only happened that once in our history). Since then, we’ve only seen very few but we do have a couple of new entries this week with great covers. Along with the adventures of Lady P and her loyal chauffeur Parker, the comic also featured the Anderson creation Marina from Stingray as well as other TV stalwarts such as the Man From Uncle, Space Family Robinson, Bewitched, the Monkees and many more. Great art (John Burns, Frank Langford and Ron Embleton to name but three) and great production values combined to make this title just as attractive a proposition as TV Century 21, and certainly much harder to collect! These two new in, plus our remaining stock, may be seen in our catalogue.
