*Humour Comics: In 1973, the then-indefatigable Whizzer & Chips gobbled up another of its fallen brethren, Knockout Mk II, in the ‘hatch, match & despatch’ stratagem beloved of UK comics. This issue, though, in addition to the traditional transfer of the fallen weekly’s most popular series to their new home, featured a selection of two free gifts, one inspired by each ‘half’ of Whizzer & Chips.
