*Marvel: This week’s complete set is the 5 part Edge of Spider-Verse mini-series from 2014. Yes, we realise that this is well beyond our normal time period, but the re-entry of Gwen Stacy into the Marvel Universe is a big event for old-time readers (like us) and has resonated with Marvel fans of all ages. This mini-series introduces or reintroduces many characters who will play a part in the upcoming and sprawling Spider-Verse storyline that would follow on, starring Spider characters from many realities. Paramount among these introductions is Spider-Gwen (as she would later become known), the Spider-Woman of an alternate Earth, debuting in #2. Gwen has gone on to feature in many of her own series, as well as starring in many aspects of the Marvel multi-media Universe. This is a pristine set of Edge of Spider-Verse, with all issues being a minimum of NM-; issue #2, the most valuable, is a fabulous NM.
