*Marvel: With acknowledgement to Chico Marx, whose line that was in their first film The Cocoanuts, I also found myself wondering ‘why’ when it came to Howard the Duck. Famed perhaps as an alternative comedy style, the title’s zaniness never appealed to me, but nevertheless it has always had a strong cult following. Following an extensive update to our listings, we now have almost every issue of Howard the Duck in stock (apart from the last few), including #12 & #13, the first cameo and full appearances of the rock band Kiss (are they still a thing?). Not a patch on the Marx Brothers though; Duck Soup it ain’t.
