*Marvel: Following his return from Limbo as part of the dynamic Defenders, a solo series for Stephen Strange was inevitably on the (tarot) cards, and Marvel duly obliged with Marvel Premiere #3, a book-length tale by Stan Lee and Barry Smith which re-established him as the Sorceror Supreme. Doctor Strange held the title until issue #14, when he spun off into his own long-running eponymous title, but here is where his much-acclaimed return got started.
