*Marvel: The history of Nathaniel Richards, father of Reed, is complicated to say the least and interwoven with that of Kang and his many identities. Let’s just say that one theory is that Kang is a descendant of Nathaniel Richards. I think if you want to know more, you can spend a happy hour or two researching on the internet. Anyway, Mr Richards senior first appeared in this two-parter, with a cameo in Fantastic Four #272 and a full appearance in #273. All things Kang have gathered great momentum in recent times.
