*Marvel: The Valkyrie first appeared  in Avengers #83 as a guise of the Enchantress, but here in Defenders #4, the already established Barbara Norris assumed the Valkyrie identity and went on to star in the title for many years to follow. #4 also features the Enchantress, the Executioner and the Black Knight.
