This issue saw the first major steps away from pure super-villainhood by Namor, and a return to his former anti-hero status, as Attuma rapidly established himself as a major threat in the Marvel Universe, appearing scores of times before eventually being beheaded – but don’t worry, it’s comics, he’ll be back any minute now!
