*Marvel: With issue #38, Steve Ditko quit Spider-Man, and a nation mourned… But he was amply replaced in the form of John Romita, who from #39 dived right in with an epic two-parter starring Spidey’s vilest villain, the Green Goblin, and in short order he (Jazzy Johnny, not the Goblin) made the series his own, bringing it into the Swingin’ Sixties with a vengeance!
