*Boys’ Adventure & War Comics: Soloway was a publisher of, among many things, US-sized comics in the 1940s. Printed in black, white and red with 16 pages per issue. Three anthology titles available in one lot this week: All Star and Comic Capers run to 16 pages each; Red Star is 8 pages and shows the publisher as A Halle, but since it has the same address and printer as Soloway, and shares the same characters, we reckon it’s classifiable as a Soloway. All adventures series such as Dandy McQueen of the Royal Mounted, Igor, Halcon, Lord of the Crater-Land, Cedric the Bowman, the Avenger and others. We are offering all three issues from this esoteric and distinctive publisher for one price, all in pretty nice VG/FN condition.
