*Girls’ Comics: Pixie was a short-lived title from IPC which commenced in June 1972 and merged with June after 30 issues in early 1973. Printed on better quality paper than most of its contemporaries, and with more colour pages, the star strips mostly featured famous characters from literature, including Black Beauty, The Naughtiest Girl In the School, Marion of Sherwood and Secret Garden.
