*Girls’ Picture Libraries: Sometime around 1966/67, Picture Romance Library truncated its name to Picture Romances and changed publisher from Pearson’s to Newnes. They retained, however, the annoying habit of only printing the issue number on the last interior page rather than on the cover! We have about a dozen of the Newnes version new in, with nice painted covers and generally in excellent, unread condition.
