*Boys’ Adventure & War Comics: As football fever grabs most of Europe, we’re proud to present our own (obtuse) contribution. This week, Lion issues #3, #4 and #5 from the title’s first year of publication 1952. No football stories within, but we do have science-fiction with the cover-featured Captain Condor, school adventure with Sandy Dean and the Jungle Robot (later Robot Archie), plus many other strips and features. Nice flat copies with the inevitable rusty staples (minimal bleed); #3 has a few small cover tears in the margins only. A dead historic update.
