*Horror/Mystery 1960-1980s: Published by Pacific Comics, starting in 1982, Twisted Tales was a horror anthology written by Bruce Jones, with a bevy of distinguished artists including Richard Corben and John Bolton. Explicitly gruesome, these would have been very pre-code had they been published in the 1950s. Almost all the first run in this update.
